Hand-carved Decorative Bone Fish Hooks by American David Corwin

While decorative Fish Hooks may be widely available for purchase on the Internet today,
back in the early 1990's that was not the case---
they were relegated to museums, private collections, or personal adornment.

Even though I searched everywhere, only in Hawaii was I able to obtain one,
a perfect specimen made from Water Buffalo Horn.

Inspired to carve, but unable to find a supply of Horn, I turned to Cow Bone
which was readily available in pet supply stores.

All my Hooks are hand-carved with needle files and sandpaper.
